just look around for some pics of boxes the only difference between a so called kicker box and a regular box is a kicker is square cut and the port size will be slightly different because of tuning
id say build a box to the max size u want it then call kicker there GREAT seriously theve helped me build 2 boxes tell them the amount of air space your working with and what ur using the box for and thell hook u up

Yeah, it is just a different cut. You don't need a port either. I would think it would be much easier it cut also...

well i have a big square box mounted facing my glass from an angle they are mounted with steel strips from the bottom back seat bracket but it takes up alot of space
