airspace-power?
i need my memory refreshed, i can't remember if you will need more power for boxes with more airspace then the speaker needs or less power
Re: airspace-power?
does it take more power to push air into a tire with 22psi, or 44psi?
44 = smaller box, less room, requires more power to push the air inside of it due to lack of room. 22 = larger box, takes less power to move air around a larger box due to increased room. not sure on this theory, but to me it makes sense. STAY AWAY FROM ME!!!

Forget about box size and power. Match your box to the specs of the sub. Raw wattage is overated...mostly because most manufacturers don't accurately report their true output.
