IS IT WORTH 100 BUCKS?
I'm close to buying a factory delco sterio for an 89 Iroc. This one is real clean and has the IPOD jack installed on it. Is it worth a 100$?????

$100 is a little high. I was selling them on here for cheaper about a year ago. Most of my electronics gear, wire, and parts are at my parents house and I havent moved them over yet. I dont know if there are even many radios to choose from in the junkyard right now so I have no clue if I can even find any to modify
I just installed a Pyle PLMD-9 fm modulator in my corolla. I like it a lot. It has 110 channels it can broadcast on versus others that might have 7 channels if that.
Even has a remote and digital frequency display
Heres some pics after installation

Value is what a person is willing to pay, and how bad they need it. I'm sure there is someone out there that will pay that because they have a higher need for it.
My 2 cents...if it's clean (which are getting scarcer and scarcer), well taken care of and already has a aux plug in it......yes it's worth $100.
Junkyard radio w/o a aux input isn't even in the same class.
I wouldn't pay more than $25 for one of those. Member

Couldn't agree more, when we were cleaning out a shop I worked at we found a stock pile of factory radios with atleast 15 of the j2000 (80s and 90s gm din and a half) radios that we just pitched cause they aren't worth squat.

I'd say its prolly worth $100, but if you dont mind going aftermarket that would be you better idea. But I assume your doing this to keep the stock look?
