1995 Camaro with Bose System

I just bought a 1995 Camaro (sorry it's a fourth gen, so please don't hate me for posting this here but I don't know where else to ask), and it has the Bose system in it with a Pioneer HU. It works pretty well but eventually I am going to take out the Bose system and put in all aftermarket. I want to: (1) Change the 4 main speakers to aftermarket running on an aftermarket amp (2) Remove the rear sub and get a panel from a fourth gen car without the Bose system and then intsall a subthump stealth system instead. So I need to know about the Bose system: (1) I heard there are amps attached to the speakers and all the speakers have a special plug, how will I remove these and put in new speakers, can I do it without running new wiring? (2) How good is the Bose setup, will it even be worth replacing with a new Alpine system? (3) Is the Bose system worth anything?
