Hey guys, my power antenna hasn't worked since I bought the car. I'm trying to fix it now. But the power antenna that is in it does not look factory. It is mounted poorly way down in the fender. The output of the antenna motor exits towards the back of the car then curves up to the top of the fender through a flexible section. The antenna has a green and red wire attached to it. The green was connected to the remote turn on lead, the red was disconnected. Anyway a few years ago the red wire was attached, and it still didn't work. Also, this setup doesn't have a relay. So I think I just want to find a factory antenna +wire + relay.

Any thoughts? Do you agree this doesn't look factory?

Thanks for the info. Is there any way to tell if I can mount a factory antenna? Does the fender need special brackets? Or should all fenders have them?
