These things have a nice stock system

So going to work everyday in my old bronco, i've had to put up with some less than stellar sound. Pulled out the camaro today, put the top down.. and I was impressed. It sounded great, and it was loud, even over the highway.

I've been really really looking into upgrading everything, new speakers, stereo, but now i'm wondering if I really want too. I suck at everything, so if I did get a new system, i'd probably take it too a shop and have them install the stereo, and i don't know if i want some guy touching my baby. I don't really know where else I wanna go with this thread, so Good night, God bless.

Re: These things have a nice stock system

Factory delco head units are really good-i have'84 vette
delco in mine and it is great. rest of system is amped
and modified with all "old skool 80s" components
i did not like the factory 4x6 dash speaker locations
so i mounted 6.5 woofers in lower door,3" mids in the
lower dash A/C vents, and special morel 1" dome tweets
in the inside door handle panels-sounds way better
than stock,especially when cranked high
