Hey guys, I remember a few years ago Jim use to make kick panel speaker enclosures but from what I understand that stopped a while ago. Anyway, does anyone know anyone who still makes these? I've heard horrible things about the q logic kick panel's so I've been trying to avoid them.

Alternatively, does anyone have any experience putting component speakers in the door panel? I have power windows, would that pose a problem?

 

I just built a set. do a search for my posting. The tweeters were easily placed about an inch towards the dash from the door handle. They look great- easy install. Kick panels were very difficult. Very time Consuming. If you send me your plastic panels kicks- I will be willing to create your base mold and send it back to you for finishing. If you want 6.5 in speakers that is. I would get you started for about $50.00 plus shipping back to you. Then you spend about 25 on bondo and sand paper to get them finished.

 

Do a search....I've done both and took the time to post pics and some "how tos" It should get you started in the right direction.

I would be willing to build a complete set of covered kick ready to go for $250 shipped....any less wouldn't be worth my time.
