power antenna to fixed antenna?!? HELP

power antenna to fixed antenna?!? HELP
i have an 86 T/A w/ power anteena wich is broke off. i have in my possesion a fixed or screw on antenna after market of course from AMI products, can i remove the power antenna motor and such and swap it with the fixed fittin????? any help before i sell this aftermarket one.

yes. The antenna and motor are all one unit with 3 wires. All that comes off. Remove and just put the new antenna...
