hey guys my speaker behind the passanger blew out but im not sure how to take the "sail" off so i can get to it

take the hanger screw out of the top. then slide the sail upwards and it comes right out. your going to need an alan wrench or hex wrenches for the speaker though. and they are 6x9's.

My 6X9's were phillips.

Mine were aftermarket though.

Exactly. Except my speakers had four 8mm(or close) screws holding them in. All in all its a super easy job.

remember to take the time to put the swcrew into the correct place. i had some speakers installed and they screwed up the screw and just made a new hole. when i made leather covers for the sail and installed them i took a good half hour to put the screws in the correct hole.
