Anyone tried mounting rear speakers in cargo area trim?

Anyone tried mounting rear speakers in cargo area trim?
Anyone? Opinions? Pros & Cons? I'm talking about where the locked compartment is and over the spare tire well. Cheers Tom

IIRC, part of the Bose system fit there.
