80's hair metal, W.A.S.P. being a favorite. A newer band getting bigger in the states from Denmark called Volbeat. A couple female fronted symphonic rock bands from Europe, Nightwish and Within Temptation.

After watching "The Monterey Pop Festival" and Jimi's burning his axe, I pulled out Jimi Hendrix: The Ultimate Experience. The album (album? I guess that shouts my age) will rock your ride. Crank up Foxy Lady and cruise!
Oh, you might check out Albert King's Born Under a Bad Sign. Way cool, but perhaps not the best music to listen to in car.

Havnt seen a thread on this yet, and thought id post one here because it seemed fitting. Title explains it all, maybe name us some songs to add to our collection.
I'll start it off.
Personally i'll listen to anything but im old rock/any rock at heart.
Heres a few of my favorites, these are older.
ACDC - Back in black (overplayed perhaps, but man you cant go wrong with it)
Roxette - The Look (Think whatcha want, but this has gotta be on me top 5)
The High speed Scene - The Iroc-z song (I went searching for an iroc song, and i actually found one. When i first listend to it i was like eh. But it kinda grew onto me after awhile. pretty catchy.)
I deepy apologize, delete this or let it die if you will. Its late and i managed to overlook the "Your top 5 tunes thread" sorry folks!

I got Bury your dead in there today. But I just got an IPOD setup so I'll have a bunch of random stuff playing at random times. Six feet under, halfbreed, blaze ya dead homie, sevendust, staind, cold, reveille, just to name a few. Its an nano so got about 2k songs.

Ratt, Warrant, Dokken, Tigertailz, Guns n' Roses...real big into the hair metal/sleeze metal. The Ramones, Hanoi Rocks, Sex Pistols, punk and such. Of course on a hot summer night with the windows down I'm normally cruising around playing some good ol' rock n' roll, Buddy Holly and all that. If I'm ticked off though I put on the heavy stuff; Through the Eyes of the Dead, Six Feet Under, etc. Depends on the mood.
