12" sub box!

hey i was wondering... is it cheeper to buy the box for firebird $70 ob ebay? or could i make it for cheaper?

at lows the got the wood for $30 for 4x8 sheet....ill have to buy some screws so add $5 .... will the 4x8 sheet be enough to make the box?

has anyone made a box that knows how much it will cost approximately?

how many 12s? carpet? you gonna carpet it? you gonna port it? is it a t-top box or a truck box , ect. lol sorry need to know what you workin with

its cool i didn't give many details lol....

its reg no t top. ported. ima carpet the top part with some carpet i got already then paint box black with paint i got.

and just 2 12's

you should have enough with little left over. it all depends on how you cut it up, you know what i mean. the wood is not nice on saws or table saws. i ca usally get 1 and a half truck boxes outtaone sheet but it all depends on how you cut.

i made my custom box for the cost of a 4x8 sheet its the cheepest way and since ur porting it u should be fine , theres lots of box's on ebay that u can look at and get there dimensions, thats what i did
