berlinetta audio build questions

berlinetta audio build questions

I want to change my pod radio with a head unit this one http://www.amazon.com/Blaupunkt-New-...2506899&sr=1-9 and i was thinking take a under dash mount and put it on the center console and i was wondering if i can fit this http://maptechenterprises.com/humoun...fb8330042dff5c inside this

no it will not fit....the personalized camaro one i think turns a double din into a single. that universal mount is just big enough to fit a headunit i have mine flipped upside down where the old stereo was

I've seen that housing mounted in a digital Berlinetta before and it looks good.

I'm thinking of modding a copy of that plate that the cruise control is mounted on. so how mounting a radio there.

Would i have to do any special wiring if i went with the mount shown in that picture? My cruise control is next to the window buttons so i have empty space where the old radio would go. I am trying to do this but the guy i have doing it says that i have to replace the whole console but i have seen many threads of guys doing the same thing; just putting that mount on the current console.
