Vert Speaker Minimum Mounting Depth
I'm looking at replacing my rear speakers (done the fronts) and wondered what I could get away with. There are some Focal 6.5" that have a mounting depth of 66mm and some Infinitys with 52mm.

Thanks

Re: Vert Speaker Minimum Mounting Depth
I have Pioneer 3 Ways in my 1988. Previous owner installed so I am not sure of the depth but they appear to "stick out" a bit. I can get you a model number but the wife has the car and won't be back for a couple of hours. What did you use for the fronts as I noticed mine are stock and I want to change? My 92 has Pioneer 2 ways that sound real good.

Re: Vert Speaker Minimum Mounting Depth
Thanks for responding mate. Don't want my replacements to stick out. For fronts I installed-
Alpine SXE-4625S 4x6" 150w Coaxial Speakers
Very good, only needed minor reworking of the brackets and wires.
