UQ7 Question
Anybody here with the Firebird UQ7 option had any luck replacing their subwoofer speakers? Just wondering... I've got a GTA with this speaker setup and wondered what people were doing for replacements... new stock style woofer... aftermarket speaker... different type of 5-1/4 in place of the woofer?
The Fiero Store used to sell these speakers but do not have them available any more. Looking for some options to get my car's speaker system going again. Any help/ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Re: UQ7 Question
I was actually lucky enough to find a set with one still in perfect shape and another with the "aging" foam out of a car. But as far as aftermarket, there are a few subs out there, and you would want 5", not 5 1/4, they are too big.

Re: UQ7 Question
check out parts express. they've got a really good selection for inexpensive speakers (like Tang Band), so you can try a couple sets to see what you like for less than it would cost for anything at your local stores.

Re: UQ7 Question
I believe that's where I got my 5" subs from, and while they look cheasy in the UQ7 setup, they seem to work nicely. I have mine hooked up with the 4x6 to a 4th gen radio, very nice addition.
