sub enclosure feedback?

im sure im not the first one to ask this but has anyone tried this sub box from subthump.com? if so, how is it? is it worth the price? do the subs sound good? does the enclosure fit flush in the hatch? any feedback/pictures or other information would be greatly appreciated thanks

Re: sub enclosure feedback?

that looks to be a very good price for the amount of work it takes to make a box for one of these cars. if it is in fact MDF, that's not bad. sound will all come down to what your specfic subs require for air space, so you'll want to make sure your subs' specs fall within what the box has for room

Re: sub enclosure feedback?

Doesn't look to bad. Like stated make sure your subs fit the mounting depth and volume. I don't know what fasteners they use but I recommend tee-nuts be installed else the MDF will breakdown overtime from removing and installing the subs. I'd also recommend checking to make sure all the joints are properly sealed.

I figured they would be horrible on shipping but it was only $21.68 for a 49 pound box from IN to IL. Looks like the box would fit flush, but you could call to confirm.
