system help

ok so i decided to run two pioneer 12s through a Dual 600W amp. it all came in a bundle with the box. i also bought a Rockford Fosgate wiring kit from best buy with 4g power/ground. i know i connected it all correctly but the amp just goes into protection mode as i turn the accessories on.
i have had another amp in the car for a few months, it is an infinity that i got off of ebay and it powers the speakers in the car (polk 6.5 components and 6x9s). this system has worked flawlessly but was lacking in bass. i also have a pioneer premiere head unit that has rca's for the front rear and subs. i put the remote start from the infinity amp to the dual one because i figured that it would work the same.
sorry i wrote a lot, but just trying to get everything i have done down.

Re: system help

Get rid of the dual... I have 2 head units from them with the touch screen and i have been fighting with them for 6 months on getting warranty on one of them. They keep telling me that they have never had that kind of problem with the bluetooth so it must bee my install. The veh i installed it in has had the head unit replaced once already and the bluetooth worked perfectly in that one. The store is refusing to do a warranty exchange because they said they always get screwed by dual on their warranty's.

Re: system help

if you still have another amp, try wiring that one in place just to make sure all wires are ok. if it plays without issue, time to replace the amp. if not, then you've got a wiring issue elsewhere.

i would also recommend getting rid of the dual amp. they are a very low end brand with a pretty bad track record for reliability. used amps go for decent prices on ebay every day and unless someone detroyed it, they wont wear out.
