I need something to do while I'm waiting for my motor so I figured I would hit up my sound system. I've got my eye on a 4th gen monsoon head unit with cd and an auxiliary in the back to hook up one of those rca adapters.

I'm not going ridiculous, just wanna have enough to show up the 26in chrome donkey mobiles at a stoplight and not worry about someone breaking in to steal my stuff(a little tough I know). Speakers will come soon enough I just wanna start with the head unit. I'm a bit new to sound systems however I'm a wiring wiz. So will I be able to run an aftermarket amp with the head unit or will have to use the one that came with the monsoon unit?

If you guys have links to any threads on this, post em. I was having trouble finding any of my specifics.
