any pics for power antenna replacement?
I need to replace my power antenna motor. Understand it is behind the left front tire in the fender...does anyone have a tech article or pics of what I'm in for?

Once you remove the plastic inner fender skirt, you will see the antenna just behind the fender. I had to replace my antenna (not power) and it was a little bit of a pain but I imagine the power is easier.
Just remove the fender skirt, and take a look. I believe there is a bracket that holds the power antenna on, and the top of it may just be attached to the fender with a nut of some sort.
Sorry, I don't have any pictures or any links to any type of technical article,s but I hope that helps.

Is the antenna down? Or is it stuck up?
Basically you need to remove the nut from the top outside of the fender with either a power antenna tool ($10 at Autozone) or needle nose pliers. Then there is a bracket that needs to be removed from the antenna motor. Remove the electrical connector then it will slide out of the fender.
