I just got a great new sound systme and nice pioneer deh-1300 headunit everytime i hook my ipod into the aux chord and try to play it only plays through my left front speaker and back left speaker it wont come out through any of my rights anyone have any ideas on why this is?

 

Balance setting on the headunit equal right/left?

 

I have gone through many aux cords in my car after a while they break and only play through half the speakers. Might need to replace the cord.

Yeah the same exact thing happen to me its the cord.

 

I am sure its your cord. Just like a red and white auxiliary cord if one goes out you lose left or right. At the end of your 3.5 mm Jack there are two rings one is left the other is right. Your cord has two pos and two neg. If one wire is stretched too much you will lose left or right.
