Small/easily removable amp/sub box?
Anyone have any recommendations?
I thought that I could live with just a high powered head unit and some decent speakers, but today I really realized that the only reason that i might enjoy driving my Dodge Ram better is the 7 speaker infinity setup (surprisingly, the factory setup there hits harder than the 10speaker "500amp" monsoon setup in my '97 WS6 with a kenwood bass tube added under the hatch, it might be the fact that there is a 6 or 8" speaker in all 4 doors, so that thing really has some surface area to move air).
So I was looking for recommendations for a smallish, not to expensive amp/sub setup that could be easily removable for my 3rd gen (it's really sort of a "race car" and I can't see wanting to keep whatever I put in it in the car when I go to the track. looking for both a decent off the shelf setup or suggestions for an amp/sub that I could build a smallish enclosure for.
I'm thinking maybe an 8 or 10" driver and small enclosure, maybe a bass tube (though the kenwood one is pretty lame) or something along those lines

I've had a Bazooka RS 10" sub in my car for about ten or eleven years. It sounds great with the natural acoustics of our cars. I've had several people tell me that one 10" sub should not sound as good as it does.

i always thought these things would make for a solid quick disconnect for the power wires:

small sealed box with a 8 or 10, small class d amp screwed to the box, and a bunch of quick connects for all the wiring; in and out in under 5 minutes if you get creative with some handles or something
