I have seen it done on here. Try a search, someone was modifying stock units and selling them.

If you have a cassette or CD player, you can tap into that input internally. Not sure exactly which wires though.

Well I wouldn't be afraid of doing it myself if I knew what to tap into, I mean which wires to splice, (solder). Would some place like Crutchfields have the jack and pigtails ?

i searched for it and all i got was a thread with a picture of one that had been done. No thread on actually doing it. I would love to know how to wire in a AUX jack into my factory stereo.

Re: Adding aux jack for MP3 players on stock OEM radios

Thanks for all your input...I bought my GTA with an aftermarket stereo system in it, and I recently picked up a factory radio. Not knowing how the factory radio mounted in the pod, can someone help me out with the screws and I'm assuming some small mounting clips that I need ?

Thanks again....

Re: Adding aux jack for MP3 players on stock OEM radios

If anyone wants this done, I can do it. I also have a few radios already completed just waiting to be sold. I run the aux jack out of the back, so there is no hole in the faceplate. The cord is 6ft long, so you can easily route it up through your console to keep everything hidden.
