SYSTEM IN A T-TOP!!!

SYSTEM IN A T-TOP!!!

I DONT KNOW IF THERES ALREADY A THREAD OR NOT ABOUT THIS BUT IM LOOKING FOR BOX IDEAS FOR 3RD GENS WITH T-TOPS AND STILL BE ABLE TO USE THE STRAPS BUT WHAT IM LOOKING FOR IS 2 12 SETUPS JUST TO GIVE ME A IDEA OF SOMETHIN TO DO.

1. turn off caps

2. search the car audio board there are TONS of how to build box threads

3. You can build a box that is shallow and still use the t-top bag, but you will have very limited air space so one sub in a shallow box may be a better choice. the hatch really allows for great bass in these cars so one sub is all you really need IMO.

the problem you run into when making a shallow box is having enough space for the sub to mount and proper venting behind it. a shallow sub may be the ticket, but then you again have the issue with proper air space. if you go to a single sub and are handy with the power tools, you should be able to craft a box that meets your requirements.

Yeah I own my own car audio shop and i decided to go with a single 12 to start with and make the box level with the hump for right now im gonna be goin with 2 12s around spring but thx for the input though
