Radio Problems

A couple days ago I started having trouble with my cars radio. I have an aftermarket JVC head unit installed. Every now and then, usually when i go over a big bump or something the radio will just quit working for a second or two. The head unit itself doesnt go off, there is just no sound for a couple of seconds. I really have no idea what the problem could be. Any help is appreciated! Thanks

Re: Radio Problems

Check the wiring behind the radio on how it is attached to the factory radio harness. Something could be loose or making contact when hitting the bump. Check the battery connections too.
