WHat setup on a budget, are my current speakers any good?
I just bought my camaro and am looking to upgrade the sound system. I currently have a Sony Xplod headunit with two 4x6 Pioneers on the dash. I also have two Jensen 6x9 in the rear cells. The setup sounds decent, however it is not very clear. Even on AUX or CD. It sounds horrible when the extra volume is needed with the T-tops off.
I've got about $150 to put forwad to speakers. I am willing to buy 2 quality rear speakers now, then fronts later, but preferably I would like to buy 4 speakers for under $150.
Here are my Jensens from PO,are they quality or should I replace them?

here is the car they are going in

Thanks for any help. I will end up buying speakers tomarrow and will show pics.

im just wondering, have you messed with the equilizer at all on the head unit? that might be it if you havent other wise get some new ones, i suggest infinitys if they have any in that price range (i have them in my 92 and my truck they sound AMAZING)

Rockford Fosgate products are great as long as you don't buy the prime series and are what I have in my Camaro. Also the EQ in your radio will make all the difference in the sound quality, the higher the bass setting in your radio the worse the sound quality will be at higher volumes is a general rule of thumb.
