Different place for subs?

Different place for subs?
other than the box in the truck(which i have) what are some other things you guys have done. i was thinking about mounting them in the area by were the spare goes.

I am not sure you can do that. I was going to do that.
OOPS I did not patent it. lol
I was wanting to put a sub there and an amp and CD changer behind the back glove box area with my STS unit.
I know that others have put a sub there.

I guess ill have to try. i kinda what my trunk back but want the subs too. ill try to fab up some mounts in the next couple of week or so. currently doing body work so it might take a while... or i'll get pissed off at something and have to stay away from the body for a few. you never know

That is a common area for a custom enclosure. I've seen lots of fourth gen cars with that set up. There are some prefab 'stealth boxes' for some cars that can give you some ideas although I've never seen anything pre-built for our cars.
