Fit question - metal on metal?
Just hooked new 4 x 6's up front. They sound great! They dropped down pretty easily, although I'm not too wild about the metal base below the magnet making contact with metal below the dashboard on the left side. Is this a problem?

Not a problem.
Just as long as no contact is made with the terminals or tinsel leads, it's fine.

Thanks, Six_Shooter! Now all I have to do is put the dash back on and hope the left side isn't too high. Crossing my fingers on that one...I'll find out tonight when I get home from work.

If it is too high, get out your dremel and take a little plastic off of the bottom of the grille area. It usually does not take much to get the needed clearance.
