I need help!!!

I just bought a 92 Camaro rs. The person i bought it from hooked the fan up to a lighted switch. Yesterday i was driving and smoke started pouring out of the center console. I pulled over and took it apart and the ground wire was totally melted. Now the radio wont work at all. I checked where the gronud was hooked up and it was nowhere close to the radio ground. I have no idea what to do.

Assuming that you are talking about the AC/Heater fan, remove and replace the fan ground wire with the battery disconnected then pull out and look at the accy, radio, and other related fuses to see if any blew when the wire melted. Replace any that were blown and then restore battery power & test.

The PO may have installed this switch so he could shut down the fan without shutting down the other AC/Heater functions - who knows. He may not have done a very good job making the connections or left a bare spot in the wire that eventually touched and shorted to another power source. If he put the switch on the console area, I would highly suspect it shorted to the cigarette lighter circuit.
