I've recently got the original rear subs reconed as they were torn and everytime I would press on the gain control the speakers would screech my issue now is when I press the gain control the sound does not change I verified to see if I wouldn't have crossed the wires which is not the case is it possible the amp is fried and if so does anyone rebuild these amps or sell them or can I purchase an aftermarket amp and get it connected to the gain switch
