Factory radio help

Hi guys...got a Pontiac Delco radio and it powers up and turns on but has no sound...got the radio free and would like a spare for my car. I know nothing about electronics so any help would be appreciated!...I looked over the internals and didn't see any broken wires or solder joints...the radio is a UX1 I think...Thanks!

Re: Factory radio help

Could be a number of things. When you hit the power button does the display switch from the time to AM/FM station? If not it is a bad power button.

Yeah...the pic isn't the greatest but I had an antenna hook up and the "stereo" light is on...scan/ seek work and the tape player works just no sound!
