ok here is the deal i bought a new pioneer cd player and had it hooked up in my car it was professionaly done...when i hit my brake pedal to slow or stop the car the cd player turns off.....wtf is up with that? then after u let off the break it comes back on

 

if u had to pay for this install, take it back and demand that they fix it. if it is a respectable dealer they will do it right away.

Basically, yes Only thing i can think of is that when your brake lights come on, the voltage drops below the deck's min voltage requirements and it shuts off.
