For rspeed or who ever else that can help me?

I was wondering you guys know that sub box that is posted on https://www.thirdgen.org/messgboard/...ML/000257.html

message single 12" sub in back or something like taht, that box that has the one JL facing toward the back of the car and you can only see the amp when you have it down in the hole, i was wondering , if i were to do that, could i put two 10's or two 8's in place of where that guy has the amps, i love the way it sounds down in the hole, but i want more then just one 12, any info will help, thanks.

Putting a pair of subs where the amps are sitting is the more conventional way to do it. 99.44% of the boxes in thirdgens have a pair of speakers facing up in that location. It will work well as long as the box is built properly.

If you are considering using those in addition to the 12", then I would definately say forget it. Not only is there nowhere near enough airspace for 3 subs in that area, mixing different sizes/styles of subs results in horrible sound and an output that's only as good as the weakest driver. A single 12" sub will make your nuts quivver and make your stomach hurt if you have a good enough amp pushing it. If you want more output than that, you should be looking into a pair of quality 10s, 12s or 15s.
