Rspeed,

Have three questions for you.

You had mentioned one time when someone said pull the Eibach sticker off, you said you were going to have it repainted. Paint looks good? New color?

2, Are those the blazer fog lights? Have you thought about going to the original factory fog lights.

3, Lastly... what color are the side marker lights? Factory or niteshaded?

1)Car was wrecked,so I am repainting it again same color.Black. I will take new pics after the new paint in the next couple weeks. These pics will have the Z hi rise spoiler and the shaved handles/antenna.
2)The lights were cheapos from Autozone that I put on there temporarily when I bought my grille, but it ended up being on there forever. I don't have the original brackets, but I was thinking about trying the 4th gen lights.
3)Side markers are original.

BTW,are you still posting on the other msg board?gmforums?Haven't seen ya there since the time you asked if it was me on one of my posts.

Nah, I read so many boards. I was actually just browsing around when I saw your car. Didn't expect to see many thirdgens there. I view alot of boards, Ls1.com, that one, nethirdgen, sethirdgen, camaroz28, and quite a few more but this is really the only one I post on. I'll post on the others once in a blue moon. Guess I'm considered a lurker...

Nice work on the paint. I'm getting mine redone very soon as well as the cowl hood I've had for 8 months to be painted a fitted. Working on a few other little things. Nothing on exterior though. Have you thought about niteshading/clearing the side markers?

Also, about the shaved antenna... Not sure if your car is the same as mine, but you might have people tell you to cut it or it looks too big for the car. Well, I did the same, shaved the antenna and not a person noticed it. I guess it's more of a distraction than anything else.

Eibach Sportline springs. I just recently removed the coil isolaters and it dropped about another 1/2" in the rear and about 1/4" up front,so it is a bit lower than in the pictures above.I used a piece of heater hose on the first coil to keep it from squeaking against the floorpan.

I really like the car...if it were mine I would...

Get some slim fog lights
Polish the turn signals (I thought there was a tech article on this here but I can't find it now)
Get clear side markers

If you don't like any of the suggestions, just consider them the rantings of an insane lunatic :lala: .

RSpeed,

Not trying to be a copycat or anything, but I wanna go with ROH Snyper 17X9's like you've got. I've got around 2 g's to play with and I wanted to know if you purchased a wheel/tire combo or what kind of deal you got on your tires? Oh yeah, what's the backspacing on those rims? I'm thinking of going through JDwheels, unless anyone knows else of a better (cheaper) place.

I am changing the fog lights and getting new front marker lights when the car gets repainted.

I've been really thinking about lower my car like yours. It gives it a very very mean stance.

With in the next two-three months.

I'm thinking of reworking the suspension and lowering it.

Or, I'm going to put a cam and nitrous on it. Or possibly both.

Only thing I fear of the lowering is the scraping of the nose. I already almost do it, before the car was painted I learned all the spots to dodge. Now that it has been painted, I haven't scraped once. I'm trying my hardest to dodge that.

True. Your planning to get yours painted (or alreadey is) so no big deal. I'm sure you probably know where to avoid now.

It sits perfect though... I'm thinking about doing it soon.
