How hard is it to remove the power antenna ?

I wanna replace my antenna. It looks like a big job. Has anyone done it before ? And can you give me the instructions?

I've never removed the antenna personally, but I recently dismantled a Camaro and I think you could get to it by removing that plastic piece from the inner fender well.

I did it on my GTA, but it was when I was rebuilding the front end of the car. I had the passenger side fender off and the job was easy as could be...but obviously you probably dont want to take your fender off...hmmmm. I'm not really sure of other ways to get at it...the GTA fenders are different, but I dont remember seeing and way into it other than removing the whole fender. There must be an easier way. Well...I guess I was no help at all...sorry,

Did it about 2 years ago. Take off your tire and inside plastic fenderwell. Its right there. Kinda tight, however I did not have to loosen the bottom of the fender. It is really not a tough job, just take your time. Before you tear into though I would buy some new plastic fasteners that hold the plastic inside fender onto the outside fender lip.
