sub suggestions for an old schooler build
hey guys,
ive been out of the audio game for a while, and i have wanted to do a system for my trans am for the longest, and im finally pulling the trigger.
now, i had couple of set ups in the late 80s,early ninties, and ive kept all my old amps, and eq.
what i allready have and will use to keep costs down.
kenwood reciever
kenwood kgc eq
i have hifonics series 7 amps,
these are all vari power amps.
pluto _ 70 wts -( mids and tweeters 6.5 hifonics zues )
odin _140 wts- 8 s, (undecided)
thor- 250 wts -12s (mono 480wts)(undecided)
what would a good overall watt ratting be for a 12 to use with this older amp?
and what name brand or recomendations would you give?
i was leading towards hifonics brutis subs, but am not sure of quality since they are now made in china.
thoughts?

I have a 10" Kicker Solobaric sub driven with a 2x100w RMS bridged. That gave plenty of punch from a less than 1cf box.
