Car Stereo Lock

I have a problem. My car stereo I took it out to work on it and when I put it back in the display reads lock. I have a GTA with steering wheel controls and I have one major problem. My steering wheel controls for some reason don't want to work. So I was wondering if there was any way to release the stupid lock feature with a code on the deck it self. I know it is the MUTE button on the steering wheel controls but like i said that is useless to me.
Thanks
Jason

Had the same thing happened to me when I first got my GTA until I figured out it was the "Mute" button. I don't have the owner's manual to give you an answer but I believe the "Mute button is the only lock release there is on that radio.
Sorry I'm not much help, but check all your connections on the back of the radio.
