this is for those who have installed recievers.

well, im installing a JVC reciever, the hookups are straight, but once i connect the memory yellow wire the lights on the reciever lights come on, but it doesnt stay, it just dies out, can anyone help!

what about the other switched power wire (usually red).. most head decks require power to both leads to turn the radio on..

Car: 92 RS - Fully Restored w/Custom Int
Engine: LO3 with some mods
Transmission: T-5
Axle/Gears: 3.42 Richmond
Make sure that your wires are set up right....red - red, etc. Also make sure that your wires are tied into the right source (ACC, BATT). Lastly, make sure you are not splicing anything off of your power wires to the radio. I had fits hardwiring my V-1...it turns out that when I spliced it off the power lead to the radio, the radio wouldn't work.
