name a few more speakers in this price/quality range...
(btw im looking for 4" front speakers to go in the dash)
any reccomendations

Eclipse and a/d/s. Well,a/d/s is more expensive though.They have one set of components which retail for $2400! But Eclipse is good and in the price range you were asking for.

I wouldn't put Infinity Kappas in with MB Quart. They sound good, but they tend to break down from exposure to sun. 
I'm not the only one that this has happened to, so don't flame me. Other top brands are Eclipse, Diamond Audio, Crystal, and Focal. All the same I'd go with MB Quarts every day of the week and twice on Sunday.
