No power to CD player...
Hi Everyone,
I installed a new shifter over the weekend, which required me to remove the center console. I unplugged the CD player from all the connectors to put it in a safe place. As I went to re-install, I plugged everything back in and turned the ignition on and it worked. I was listening to the radio no problem. But as I pushed the unit into it's housing and bolt back in, everything went dead. I can't figure out for the life of me what happened.
What is the best way to diagnose the problem here?

Personally, I'd start simple...check the fuse. A wire may have gotten pinched as you seated the radio. It's pretty snug in there.
