Too Small of Speakers for the back seat speakers

I have a newer set of Alpine speakers but they are too small to fit the original speaker hole. What and how can I build something around it to make it fit?

For 87 Irocz

You can make something out of thin wood, plastic, or metal, or there are pre made plastic speaker adapter plates available.

A thin piece of wood would fix it pretty quick or do what I am going to do and make your own bracket out of metal.
