Door or Dash Speakers (or both)?

I'm about to work on reassembling my dash and redoing my entire interior. Trying to plan ahead on the audio system. I already purchased some door pods a few years ago (https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/car-...iberglass.html). I was figuring on putting some 6.5' speakers there. Should I also stick with the 4x6's in the dash? How does that work having 2 sets of front speakers? Just wire them in parallel to the HU/AMP?

6.5in 3-way Pioneer door speakers.
They really did add a nice touch to the overall sound. No obstructions in front of them like the dash speakers had.

You can use the door speakers for midbass and the dash speakers for mids and highs - if your tweeter can adjust that is even better for aiming/imaging. Buy a 4 channel amp and amplify them for best sound.
