Transmission: 6 spd manual

Axle/Gears: 14/41 tooth

Audio Install Price

I am going to take my car to an car audio shop to have my subs and amp installed. They quoted me at $200 to have a box put in and all the wires and everything installed. Is this a good price for a box, wires, and labor?

for wire , labor, and everything, this sounds reasonable. Maybe just a tad high, but not much. If it is a reputable shop and they do good work, I'd say go for it if you are not a do-it-yourselfer.

Wiring up an amp and subs is VERY easy....save yourself $200 and do it yourself ;-)

yes do it yourself man! all you need is a couple screwdrivers. the hardest part is making the box, but if you have/getting a pre-made one do it yourself. simple as pie.

Actually sounds kinda low for a quality, custom built box and installation. So if it's quailty (as in not a pre-fab 5/8" partical board box) and you can't do it yourself I say go for it.
