Update on power antennal install - and a relay question
Got a good circuit tester at the auto parts store - light comes on and buzzes, so even a dolt like me can tell what's hot and what's not.
Radio and the harness are sending power via the pink from the radio and orange (always 12V+) to the connector that plugs into the lower part of the relay.
Established that the motor was good, there were no breaks in the wires at the pass thru, and the antenna, when energized, would extend (if spooled) or retract (if extended) but not both and not on a signal from the radio on/off.
1. What should the 12V readings on the pins into the relay with power off/on?
2. What should they be on the output side of the relay with power off/on?
Have a replacement Crown antenna coming, but before I touch that, I want to make sure the rest is working right.
Thanks!
