HELP! 1988 GTA with Perfromance sound.

Hello i got a 1988 trans am GTA, with the performance sound package. But had no radio when i bought it as a roller many years ago. Got a aftermarket radio in it and it works but only if you play with the pink wire on the sub relay located behind panel on pass side. prior owner had it cut and wired to somewhere in the radio area in dash. Like i said i can get it to work if i play with the wiring but only if i connect wire to 12 volt positive and unplug it and plug it back in.

So what your saying is to wire the 12V power wire (pink from relay) to the blue power antenna wire and see what happens? Is it maybe that the power antenna does not work that maybe is why the radio does not play sound but turns on?
