Damn thats a sweet setup, I hope to have something like that that someday, when I get a job =P
Do the kickpanels you make offer better sound than the qforms ones that crutchfield sells? Also, what kind of subs are those?

Those are JL 10w3 subs.
I've never heard a set of Q-forms, but I will say this.
My kickpanels are a low profile design. They are not aimed perfectly, if they were, you'd lose over 4 to 5 inches of floor space to have the mids aimed out to your ears. I built these realizing that in a daily driven car, a compromise between imaging and foot room must be made. The mid fire straight out, and the tweeter, the more critical speaker, is aimed up and out. But do to the lack of space behind the mid, you will not get the level of mid bass that a door mounted mid will, but, it is a TON more than any dash mounted speaker will give.
But I will say that mine are stronger made then q-forms, these guys are 1/4" thick fiberglass mat. perfect for clumsy friends in passanger seats!
Oh yeah, those 10's pounded really well with 2000 watts going to them! I never got chance to measure it, but the djSexay ear meter says about 140 to 145. But don't take that to the bank.

The kickpanels in the pics only extend over the dead pedal in the carpet. So if your clutch clears that, you're ok.
Basically, these kicks take away 3" of floor space from the floor. Take a piece of 2x4 (which is really 1 1/2" x 3 1/2") lay it flat against the factory kickpanel, effectively simulating the amount of floor space you loose with my kickpanels. If you still have room to operate the clutch, you're good to go.
