Removed the Original Optional "Performance Sound" Sail locations speakers and mounting 'buckets'. Decided to put 6x9 speakers in.
My question is just in case I change my mind one day does anyone know of a modern direct replacement speaker for the 4" Round mounting cutout?
The P/N on the original speaker is one of these two numbers on the bottom of magnet....

Removed original dual speaker system.

 

there is no replacement-the original was a special long throw design and any replacement will not be properly "tuned"to perform as original in the ported enclosure...

Found this source on E-Bay a little while back: ** Search Online auctions for " fieropartsaustralia " for new replacements Fiero SUBs. About as close as you will ever get to the Firebird SUBs.
