Rear speaker size in a convertible

What is the size of the rear speakers in a convertible? 5x7 or6x9.

I believe they are 6X9, but don't quote me on that

Good thing you're not quoted gofast, as a vert owner who's had his speakers out i can tell you they are in fact little maybe 5" round jobs. You can mount a 6.5" though without much problem. I have 6x9s in mine now but don't like it at all. They are WAY too big for the space and they're actually one of the shallower 6x9 models made. They're pushing my trim panels in my a good 1/2-1", making it look like ****ty GM fit and finsh. As soon as i have some spare money (or i seel these 6x9s) i'm gonna put a set of 6.5"s in there. I wish i would have measured better before i bought 'em, it looked close so i went for it. Bad move.
