6x9 rattle
I get an annoying ratting sound even at low volume, I was wondering what the problem could be. The 6x9's are kenwood 3 ways are only a year old.

i dont have any problems with my 6x9's rattling away when i have my subs off, i dont know if this helps or not, but i have a pair of waterproof foam baffels behind my 6x9's, just because i used them in my topaz and there was no point in throwing them away, and it doesnt make any of my stuff rattle, i HIGHLY doubt this affects it a whole lot, but just letting you know thats what i have and i have no problems with my 6x9's fuzzing or rattling the panels...

I don't know if your 92 is the same as my 87 IROC as far as how the 6x9's mount, but one of mine was rattling and tightening the bracket that holds the speaker and is fastened to the body of the car helped. I think I used a 7mm wrench and splipped it behind the plastic panel. Took some time, but they finally tightened up.
Mine were rattling so I took the grill/trim off and discovered that the mounting bolts/screws had worked themselves loose. If you find that you have the same problem then I suggest using some Locktight on the threads of those bolts.

I have the same problem with my car. The 6X9's rattle so much that my friends think I have subs.
