Volume of enclosure: How does it affect sound?

The box that I have right now is too small for my speakers. Maybe about 0.95 cu. ft. per sub. The new box that I am designing has 1.51 cu ft for the right sub, and 1.3 cu ft for the left sub. The Pioneers require 1.5 cu ft + or - 10%. How will the increase in volume sound to my ears???

you most definately want the 2 enclosures to be as close as possible. Differences in volume will make the frequency response of the subs different, and there is a chance that there could be cancelation at certain frequencies, making the bass quieter then if it were just one sub.
