No, it will have to be run as one channel since you are making 2 speakers into one by wiring them that way.

Yeah you should be able to run each speaker, with DVC'S running in parallel, to each channel. You might want to verify with a mulitmeter that you are actually getting a 2 ohm load. Make sure your amp is capable of running at a 2 ohm load.

Here's a really nasty pic of how it should be wired.
This is for two Dual Voice Coil subs, with each Voice Coil being 4 ohms. The green wire is just a nuetral wire. I guess you could call it positive.

This will give the amp a 4 ohm load while it's bridged.
